Christine Monpoint Marsan, LCSW

Christine received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Molloy College followed by her Masters in Social Work from the University at Buffalo. Christine began her career working with at-risk children and adolescents in a residential setting as a youth counselor and transitioned to a Social Work role. Christine later went on to an inpatient psychiatric facility working with children, adolescents, and adults where she continued to refine her skills in psychotherapy and case management.

A trauma-informed approach

Trauma results from an isolated or series of events that have negatively impacted one’s emotional, social, and/or physical health. Trauma-informed treatment focuses on preventing further traumatization during the therapy process, while allowing you to work through the ongoing impact of the event.
